• Account information — name and email address when you register
• Practice content — interview answers, saved stories, and session data you submit
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, and interaction patterns
• Payment information — processed securely by our payment provider; we do not store card details
• Voice data — audio is transcribed in real time during voice practice sessions and is not stored after the session ends

We use your information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Service
• Generate AI coaching feedback and scores on your answers
• Send transactional emails (account verification, password reset, purchase receipts)
• Send product updates and announcements (you may opt out at any time)
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
• Comply with legal obligations

Your interview answers and practice content are sent to third-party AI providers (including OpenAI) to generate feedback, scores, and rewrites. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by data processing agreements. We do not use your content to train AI models.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Service providers — hosting, payment processing, AI inference, and analytics vendors who act on our behalf
• Legal authorities — when required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with appropriate notice to you

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember preferences, and analyze usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect some functionality of the Service.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Practice content and saved stories are retained until you delete them or close your account. Usage logs are retained for up to 12 months. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Export your data in a portable format

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), secure authentication, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will promptly delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
